My passion for reading more recently blossomed into an interest for creative writing. To me, writing is like an escape, where new worlds and characters can be created just how one has envisioned them to be. I especially love to study the writing of my favorite authors, who include Shannon Messenger, Rick Riordan, Rumiko Takahashi, Tatsuyo Endo, and the pseudonym author SingShong. Writing is a free-formed art to absorb one’s self into a whole different world. I enjoy how conflicts can be created and resolved, along with the complexities of relationships, all with simple keystrokes. 

I also teach creative writing to kids in my freetime. To me, it’s very rewarding, and I love seeing the imagination and unique inventiveness in the children’s stories.
